My order of 10mm
figures from Cracker Line/Plank Road arrived a while ago. Customer
service was great. Delivery was fast. The order was accurate. I
received 48 infantry figures, 4 figures for a command stand (officer,
drummer, two ensigns without flags or staffs), an artillery carriage
with 8 (yes, EIGHT) barrels and 4 artillerymen. That makes up a
Union Regimental order. The cavalry regiment I ordered included 12
mounted troopers, 12 dismounted troopers, 2 mounted horse holders and
6 saddled horses, 3 mounted command (officer, trumpeter and guidon
bearer) and 3 dismounted command (same mix). The only other item I
added onto this order was an artillery limber which arrived with 4
horses (2 with riders), the limber and a seated soldier for on top of
the limber. This first order will provide the core of my Union army.
At least for now.

10mm American Civil War...
It's been a long
time since I've picked up a gaming project… or even played a game
for that matter. But I miss my hobbies so I decided it was time to DO
SOMETHING. I have some limitations, though. Things are not as they were.
First, my work
schedule and transportation limitations require that I host any games
I want to participate in. I simply can't get to other locations at
the times that gaming is taking place. Most likely, I'll have to
provide figures for both sides. Maybe these will be solo games. Maybe
I can introduce some of my co-workers to wargaming.

For Sale - Miscellaneous Figures/Planes/Rules...
Here is a more inclusive list of gaming stuff I'd like to sell. This is a preliminary list. I've yet to decide on prices. But... if you see something you're interested in acquiring, drop me a line via this blog. I'd like to sell things in batches and not bits and pieces where I'd end up with odd, unwanted items. For example, I'd like to sell all the 1/144 planes together, etc. Additionally, I'd like to sell locally to avoid shipping hassles but you never know. You can leave your email, the item you're interested in (and perhaps an offer) in a comment. All comments on this blog are moderated before posting so I'll see your info and contact you. Your email will not be published as a comment.

For Sale - WWI 1/72 Scale Planes...
For Sale - WWI Plane Kits...
World War One aircraft have interested me since childhood. Consequently, I've acquired a number of kits over the years, and much like wargaming projects, they never get finished. At this point I have neither the eyesight nor the hand coordination to ever complete them so 'tis time to let them go.

Ave Imperator, morituri te salutant, secundus...
Bigfig gladiators continue to hold my magpie attention. Here are a couple more of the 54mm Pegasus gladiators which I painted up yesterday. I should have paid a bit more attention to what was in the background when photographing!
Myrmillo
Thraex
(unusual in that he has a large oval shield--I can hear the purists howling!)
fini.
